CPR Training Certification Classes
Certification cards are issued immediately following successful course completion.

Book Required!
All students must have a current book - AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual
(15-1010 2/16 - located on back of cover). This book is REQUIRED for the class. You can do one of the following:
• Purchase book from Central Coast CPR for $15 during class enrollment.
• Purchase book from Central Coast CPR for $15 during check-in for class.
• Bring current book to class if you have one.
You may pick-up a purchased book prior to class. Book WILL NOT BE MAILED.

• Heartsaver Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED/Choking
Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, Infant CPR, use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Students receive a credentialed course completion card good for 2 years and a Student Manual.
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR class is designed for childcare providers, coaches, teachers, lay person responders, and the general public. It is not the correct course for healthcare providers. If you are in the healthcare profession, please refer to the HCP-BLS course.
Approximately 4 hour course. The course is appropriate whether taking as an initial or a recertification student. $70 Manual Included. |

• Heartsaver CPR/AED/Choking/First Aid
Skills covered are adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, use of a pocket face mask, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The basic first aid portion of the course covers patient assessment, bleeding and fracture management, cardiac emergencies and other acute injuries and illnesses. Students receive a credentialed course completion card good for 2 years.

• BLS - Healthcare Provider CPR/AED/Choking
This course is for healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMT’s, respiratory therapists, physical & occupational therapists, physicians assistants, medical or nursing students, aides, medical or nursing assistants, fire fighters, police officers and other allied health personnel.
Adult and child CPR, foreign body airway obstruction in conscious and unconscious patients, use of barrier protection (pocket masks), bag valve mask ventilation (BVM’s) and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) are covered in this course. There is a written test and skills evaluation. Students receive the BLS for Healthcare Providers course completion card good for 2 years. Approximately 4 hours. $70 Manual Suggested, $15 |

Workplace CPR Training
At Central Coast CPR we make your training and re-certification fun and easy:
• We will travel to your location on a day that is convenient to your schedule (we require only five or more students for onsite classes).
• Classes can be booked Monday through Saturday during daytime or evening hours, subject to instructor availability.
• Certification cards for CPR and First Aid are valid for two years.
Mommy & Me
This is a non-credentialed basic CPR course. Skills covered are Adult, Child and Infant CPR. However, this course
is specifically designed to concentrate on CPR and choking skills for infants and children ages 1-8. Students receive a course
completion card with their CPR booklet. Approximately 3 hours. Cost is $50 per person, minimum of 4 people.
(Additional fee may apply based on travel time) This course is $30 each if you do not need a Course Completion Card.
Friends & Family
This is a non-credentialed basic CPR course. It is designed for people who want to learn Adult,
Child and Infant CPR for their friends and families. Students receive a course completion card with their CPR booklet.
Approximately 3 hours. Cost is $50 per person, minimum of 4 people. (Additional fee may apply based on travel time) This course is $30 each if you do not need a Course Completion Card.
Last Minute Class
Do you need a last minute Certification? We offer private, last minute classes (described above)
for $150 per person, subject to instructor availability. Please email or call us with your information and your certification due date, and we will do our best to fit you into our schedule.
